Our Christmas

Hi Everyone! So lots has happened since my last post. Christmas happened, and Kevin and I returned to MB for a quick visit. It was great to see family and friends again. Here are some great pics from our visit

Actually, before we left, Kevin and I had our very own Christmas which consisted of a relaxing evening of eating pizza, watching movies, exchanging gifts, and of course, reading the Christmas story. This is us, and our Christmas tree. Ok, now you can see the pictures from our trip.

Oops, I lied. Also, before we left we celebrated Christmas with Kevin's parents at the beginning of December. They are not in the country for Christmas because they are off visiting our sister Lori in New Zealand! We had a fantastic weekend with them and missed them very much this holiday season!

Our first day home was Saturday and we had the annual Plett gathering, which is usually quite fun for us, especially since some of our closest friends just happen to also be family. This is me, Shauna and Elyse, BFF ;) lol, who says that these days? And Kevin and Elyse showing off their rings :).
This is the newest addition to the Plett family, Norah. She is a cutie patutie and loves the camera!

Christmas Eve was another day full of family fun. We had supper with Kevin's Uncle Bernie and Aunt Liz and their family. We always really enjoy being with them. We shared some pretty good laughs. In the evening we attended the Christmas Eve service at the church in Newton. It was excellent as usual. and then afterwards, we had a house full of people. Mainly my sister's in-laws, the Toews, and my grandparents. It was a fun night of eating, and playing Taboo

Kevin Toews' (be careful, there are two in my family) cousin Mitch provided a lot entertainment for everyone, whether is was playing trucks downstairs, or participating in our game upstairs.

My Grandparents :) Mom's beautiful Tree!Playing Taboo!

Then came Christmas Morning!!!!! While the boys watched the Price is Right, A family fav, the girls cooked brunch

mmm, sticky buns and eggs and bacon!

Then we opened gifts!

Mom and dad will be going on a cruise in Feb for their 25th and so we gave them gifts they could enjoy then. Dad was already testing out his new Binoculars.
After an afternoon of relaxing and the boys did some 'GT'ing in the evening, we opened Christmas crackers and everyone rec'd a lovely crown and a toy. I think the crowns added to the silliness in our game of Balderdash, in the evening. I think everyone had a stomach ache afterwards from laughing so hard

After all that fun, Kevin, Drew and I relaxed in the hot tub.

Our last gathering and the final day of our trip was spent at my Auntie Linda's house for the Klassen gathering. We enjoyed games, food and going out skating on the creek. This is my cousin Lisa and I showing off our wonderful figure skating skills.

Now Kev and I are back in Saskatoon and ready to start the New year together!
That's all for now :)
